Postbox toppers

Difficulty: 3 stars difficulty rating
You will need: You will need yarn, crochet hook or knitting needles

Have you seen the toppers on face book or the October 21 magazine?
Or may be read the challenge in the Townswomen in Contact Newsletter 10?
Attached below are patterns to knit  or crochet the base for a topper, decorate as you would like and be sure to tell people who you are and why the topper is there.

Do measure your post box before you start, the most common measurement for a round postbox is 56cm across (22 inches) and if your chosen box is oval we advise that a fabric base might be best.
